A Heart's Treasure!

 Your heart is where you will find what you most treasure ...

I heard a song yesterday ~ not that I am a fan of the artist, but you know that feeling when hear those words ~ the words that hit you with such force.  Wow!

"There are 2 types of people in this world.  The ones that entertain and the ones that observe."

Think about those words for a moment.  Are you an entertainer ~ someone who takes action towards your goals?  Someone who gives back to the community?  Someone who views others as people and not objects?

Or, are you an observer? Someone who lets life happen to them.  Someone who focuses on the things, the excuses, the "why me", letting others take the jump into life for you?    

I am not saying we have to constantly be riding, jumping, being busy ~ life does require action though ~ and positive action at that.

Your actions will be guided by where you find your earthly treasures ~ because that is where you heart truly lives.

Do you focus on things ~ clothes, computers, phones, vacations, toys, boats, the latest gadgets?

Or, are you focusing on impacting lives, helping people, healing hurts, growing someone's heart.  I have the image of the cartoon version of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" in my heart.  When Cindy Lou cared so much about sharing Christmas with the Grinch ~ truly understanding him ~ that his heart grew and grew and grew.  Think about that image when we see his heart growing.

What would it mean to this world if you help just 1 person ~ helped 1 heart grow?

A simple fact I have learned ~ when you focus on the people, the rewards come naturally.
